The effect of intraperitoneal administration of halothane.

چکیده
Intraperitoneal administration of halothane to rats causes an inflammatory reaction of the peritoneum. The degree of inflammation is dependent on the dose. The effects of this non-specific inflammatory reaction on the liver should be evaluated before conclusions relating to the effect of halothane administered by inhalation on the liver are drawn from the results of intraperitoneal administration of halothane.
